Hard to execute a crisp out mechanic while holding the indicator in your right hand. From the picture, it looks like the BU was behind the play with a terrible angle.

I'll take your word for it, fortunately the tag occurred some 30 feet from the bag and any ump anywhere in the park from any angle could have made that call.
