HEY BLUE!!!

Where's the BALL???????????!!!

watch the tag , then check for the ball???

Do you see a ball in the glove??? here... use my glasses :geek:

NO.... looks like she beat the throw home...catcher faked the tag!!!

She slid in hard game over 7-6...... looks to be a 2 run inside the park walk-off hr...

and she was safe

That pic is irrelevent, but in pic 2 and 3 the catcher doesnt have the ball and the obvious tag in pic 3 is faked? Thats pretty tricky catching for such a young catcher. Thats talent.

If thats the new story and youre sticking too it, ok, congrats on the inside the park homer. Ive seen those at that age level on dropped 3rd strike though :)

Just kidden.. if she did good, good for her.

Well with the new and improved version of the story.. in some extreme cases or if the runner is injured, that rule violation could even lead to an ejection of the offending player.

The original story "she slid under the tag so you say no HR???"

New and improved version "NO.... looks like she beat the throw home...catcher faked the tag!!!"

Not a NEW story but whatever...i was clicking away with the camera ;i even thought the ball had been thrown home! The catcher did a great job "selling it" .

can't believe that this has turned into this big pile of crap; just wanted to share dd's success and what i thought were decent pics!!

Camera has a setting for 15 frames per second (but the resolution is very low) and i was trying it out but put it down when they threw her the first 2 pitchouts.Grabbed it quick when she made contact and realized there may be a play at the plate but it had to power back on first!

It is what it is... 3 straight balls on called pitchouts and the 4th one was hit deep because it was left over the plate. This team that they beat is also the same team who walked her 4 times in the finals this week so think what you want but looks like they didn't want to pitch to her for a reason!

srf:
it is a cool collage, be proud of it, and the excitement the game gave everyone...
don't be offended, we're just passing time at work, and having fun...you never know where a post will turn...
look at it this way, your picture post has genterated 26 comments so far, more than any other...not quite the 200 comments from the infamous "DDs # taken away, might leave team!" post, but you never know!
keep it up and maybe numero uno can find it in his heart to send a Hey Bucket t-shirt your way!

I 2nd Arto!

Just goofin around. Dont take this stuff personal.

Imagine if you said "come on blue, she was safe by a ___________ {insert typical gross exaggeration here of a parent/coach grasping for straws}

and the umpire just rolled up in a ball and started crying.

Similarly, a lesser but nonetheless important thick skin required on the net.

Besides, so far your thread as the sweetest mullet of them all. And that is going to be a record that stands until it is broken! There havent been too many Texas threads though, so you probably wont be #1 forever.

Unlike your ordinary, average, run-of-the-mill type record. :?
