Here's another action shot from Oklahoma City....Runner advancing to third, SS attempts to cover, but has too much momentum to stop for the catch on Oklahoma City's loose red dirt fields. This is the best shot from a "burst" sequence.

No catch was made. Runner slid to the outfield side and a direct collision was avoided. LF backed up the play and kept the runner from advancing. Happy to report the SS lived and continued with no injury. The girl can fly though!

Looks like she made it to the base and left foot went sliding off (noticed the what seems to be an area on the base thats been wiped clean). Great effort on SS behalf, could be a motivational poster with the subtitle “Never give up”... Nice shot.
