Not sure what the deal with the thigh tatoo was. I think little brother had some temporary tatoos from somewhere and was putting them on everyone in the family. There was also an airbrush tatoo hut at the tourny so it could have been either one of those.

Yeah, this was a rec. "World Series" so all the balls were "fresh out of the paper"

I didnt see above, was she 10U or under? Out here in these parts they use the soft softballs in Rec, hence the significant "squish" on the ball.

Doesnt take away from the nice photo or her hit, just the distance and the pain when one of the fielders or batters gets hit.

No, she's 12U and they use the real deal. Our rec league uses the softer balls for 6U and younger. The 8's and 10's use the 11 inch balls and 12's use 12 inch. She played rec ball during the week and travel ball on the weekends and there were no differences in the balls they used.

Yeah, I can see a big difference in the RIF ball and the standard ball. There's a much bigger dent in the RIF ball and it's almost egg shaped on impact.

I wish I could tell you. It was an action-shot company that specializes in that stuff. It was one of those big suckers with a long lense that they sat on a single-legged stand.
