First I never like seeing a pitcher or player get injuried so I am not promoting injurying another player. Thankfully this pitcher was able to move out of the way.

pixsguy,
You sir or madam are an azz hole. How dare you post a comment like that. As the father of a pitcher and have seen pitchers hit by a shot back to the mound, including my own daughter, really makes me angry. I think you really need to think about your comments befor you post them. Stupid people like you really make the game look bad. We as pitcher parents set and watch every pitch and pray that it does not come back at our daughters and cause serious injury. Have some one like you post a comment like that makes me very angry. I hope the people that do know who you are, tell you how bad your comments make you look.

Spaz!!! Where ya been bro'??? It's been well established that Pix is an idiot...not an azzhole, but keep the 'p' add an 'r' keep the 'i' and a 'ck' and I think we've come to good description of who this guy is.

I have seen a hit like that and thank goodness the pitcher had a mask on. It still dropped her in an instant, but better that than braces through the lips :)

Before we start trying to hang each other I just have one thing to say, the pitcher was okay it was just a hard hit ground ball to third

As an ex-pitcher(baseball) I've had a few screamers hit back at me. You are focused on the catchers glove(target) not the batter like the seven players behind you. We have a survival instinct that in most cases allows us to deflect the ball away from our face(hopefully).Sometimes you have to throw a strike and sometimes they get smoked back at you. My DD pitches like a lot of yours and I worry about her every time she takes the ball.

They need to work with that pitcher before she gets herself killed, especially if that was a reaction to a ball hit to 3rd.

I was thinking the same thing. I know of a girl that does that locally too.
