I am only responsible for buying them.... not taking them.
The guy from our local paper comes to our games and has full access to the field - he takes GREAT pictures!

Those guys cheat - they get on the field to take pictures. I have pulled that off once - I scammed the guards at a Team USA game - took same amazing closeups , but I think I used a life time worth of chutzpuh in one day.

I have gotten to know the guy rather well over the last 2 yrs.... and I KNOW he knows that i am a sucker for great pic's of my DD. he always comes up to me after the games and tells me, "Hey - i got a couple GREAT pic's of your daughter - check the website out tomorrow."
And i do....
And then I buy them all!
He told me the lens he (mainly) uses - is about a $5K investment. Not the camera minyou - the lens!
