4 Second Video - Stacked Wiffle Ball Tee Drill

This is a fun drill that requires maximum bat speed, true bat path and EYES on contact point. The batter is so interested in the top ball landing on the tee, they keep their focus on the contact and not the ball flight. The way we wish we could always get them to hit the ball.

(2) 12" Wiffle Balls. Set the 1st ball on the tee with one of the holes centered at the top. Take the 2nd wiffle ball and use a solid section between holes and set it on the hole of the 1st ball to keep the two together. *Much easier to do when it's not windy.
I work with players 12u through 18 Gold. The first time that top ball lands on the tee, it doesn't matter how old they are, you always get that Big Smile reaction. That's the ultimate goal as a coach or parent. Have fun with this!!

Perhaps a small washer between the two balls?

NC, not a bad idea... Ill have to give that a go, I had my dd work with this drill with the wiffles and now I cant take the bat out of her hands. She's landed the ball on the tee a few times, and every time its like the most exciting thing she's ever seen. :D  :D

Hey, anything to get her out swinging the bat on off days works for me!
