3 berths to each.
Should SoCal ASA be split up into two or three associations? 2/3 berths for each. Possibly by county or some other boundary.
Obviously the powers that be don't want to loose their clout as the largest association but isn't this a bit ridiculous?
They have the illusion of clout...the east, south, and midwest run things. They know it should be split, but they don't do it. They know that all of their local qualifiers will be played in Hemet or Lancaster (or my personal favorite Palm Springs) due to the sheer number of teams. Its stupid, but they will continue to refuse to listen to their customers. If they divided the association by county, the area would get more berths to ASA Nationals.
They don't have clout due to their size...just the opposite....we are roundly despised by other areas of the country....and we continue to see NoCal broken up and sending more teams to Nationals without ever leaving the state to qualify. Lots of egos owned by stupid individuals.
