The other side is the really strong teams, Dreams, Team Indiana(gold) are not going to play local ASA tournaments(unless it is the gold qualifier), so you won't face them unless in showcases.

Or unless you have scheduled friendlies with them or at college scrimmages. By the way da60-we are a single team organization. Not affliated with any program in the state. One trick pony.

Canocorn, would not be the first time I have ever been wrong.(your posts and the tournaments you commented on led me to believe your team was affiliated with a good organization here in Indpls). Your right about the friendlies or college scrimmages. Good luck to your team.

Didn't mean to come across wrong. I could tell you thought we were associated with someone else and didn't want you make you think otherwise.

Coolstuff - there were only 6-10 "gold" teams in St. Louis. I would bet that you didnt play any of them. I wouldn't take the coaches opinion that you played gold teams. Just research the teams you played. There was only one team from Indiana that a gold team.

After the tournament, the coaches told the team that they had been playing gold teams, saying that somehow we got mixed in with them. Some of the teams we played were Homer Hawks, Extreme Elite, Hoosier Pride, some team called Orange that had the Louisville Slugger logo on the front of their uniforms, and a fifth one is escaping my memory. I don't know if those are gold teams or not. Where would I go to find out?

Go to the ASA web site and look up the standings at Gold Nationals last year and see if they made it there. Then you'll know if victory against these teams means all that much.
