Athletes and types of college degrees

Thank you for the reply's. Some Nursing, Biology, Vet degrees being pursued. I tried logging on to different colleges to see what their players had listed as majors, but not all players have majors listed. And I was hoping to see data on players that have actually graduated. I'm still looking for a case study that would have a couple years of data that shows college softball graduates and their majors.

I asked theese exact questions on the official visits, I wanted to know only about the SB players, % of members that graduated ? And the degrees ? Also how many on the team at this time majoring in Biology.

We have a large # of nursing majors on our D2 team. It is a pain in the arse getting them all at practices and workouts, but we find a way to manage.......

What is Famiy Studies? I see U of AZ. softball players majoring in that.

U of AZ. majors for softball - 2 sociology, 3 psych, 1 nutrition, 3 fam. studies, 1 nursing, 1 PE, 1 history, 1 English, 3 undecided, 1 communications, 1 poli sci.

Family studies is a braod spectrum degree. You could use that degree to be everything from a school teacher(non specific) all you would have to do is take half another semester for the teaching certificate to a social services worker. And if your DD is really serios about being a vet and playing on a good softball program Texas A&M is the way to go. Now obviously not everyone can go to A&M but there are many extensions of A&M that would work. Tarleton State, Texas A&M corpus christi,kingsville,commerce,ect. They are probably the leader in anything that has anything to do with animals, including veterinary medicine, animal science and biology. They were the first to use stem cells to clone an animal.And if im not mistaking they were the best softball team in the big 12 last year.
