What was bothering her? The answer to that question could explain the brick wall.

My DD played for many years on a very competitive local team in the midwest. Unfortunately, our coach was unsucessful in his repeated attempts to secure a spot in local exposure tournaments. Our team didn't have a history and we weren't part of the good ol boy network. We decided to break up and some of the players joined forces with a high profile exposure program. So far everything has gone according to plan. After one fall season, my DD will be taking a couple of unofficial visits this winter and two others will be doing the same. Her new team has 10-30 coaches watching every game they play. There is more competition for playing time but I think learning to compete with teammates is a good skill to have heading into to college.
