Synergy -10 '06 1B vs '07 8B.. diffs other than paint?

What's on your mind?

Easton Synergy '06 SCN1B vs. '07 SCN8B --

Long story short, my '95 is still shy of 95 lbs, and not particularly strong. Instead of using her 30" RKT '05, at the last tournament she borrowed a teammates Stealth -10 (the white and purple one). Anyway, she drives in three runs on a bases loaded gapper.

She's now convinced she needs a -10 balanced bat, and she's probably right given her thin build. She's also moving to the left side over this year, slowly. I already knew I'd need to get a bat that would work for slapping as well as hitting away for power... and as cool as the RKT is, it doesn't do THAT.

So... for Xmas I will get her a New in Wrapper either 1B or 8B. They are $150 shipped vs. $175 shipped.

Which would you get? Are they any different other than grey vs. turquoise paint job?

My daughter's 06 SCN1B (Grey) is the hottest bat I've seen. Her's is now a game bat only so we can prolong the life of the bat. Please let me know where you can find one NIW. I will buy one. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, Spazdad got it. I was looking on ebay for the SCN8b, saw a $175 Buy It Now with shipping included, and clicked on the seller's store to see who they are... that's where I saw the SCN1B for $150 delivered from the same seller ... until I bought it two minutes ago.

Another SCN1B 31" is on ebay at $150 Buy It Now, but it isn't free shipping. I think that'll be the right size for her until she gets to about 5'2... she just hit 5' this month.
