What's on your mind?

Yeah, my fault, I'm looking for a pitcher with a hot mom. Not advertising to get rid of one!

BTW, DD has 46 pitches

46 huh ?? Really....with an uninformed comment such as yours, I would guess that to be your IQ.

So, just for starters, anybody posting that has an affiliation with, say, Tennessee (2007 WCWS runner-up), Northwestern (2006 WCWS runner-up), Michigan (2005 WCWS champions) or the Lemont Rockers (2008 ASA 18U Champions) shouldn't be taken seriously? Tell that to all the good teams that are from west of the Mississippi that were beat/eliminated by any of the above-mentioned programs. The reality is that every year the gap between east and west is closing as more and more teams/programs commit to year round training even in sub-zero winter temps found in the cold and icy upper Midwest and Northeast. Southern California, or for that matter any team west of the Mississippi, does not have an exclusive hold on talent.

Going back to the OP of this thread, I think it was Killer Rabbit who said: "1. Know what you're posting about because if you're full of s--t you will get called on it."

Read the thread, the previous high was 45!

At least Artomatic and Jofus got it. Just in case you need more help understanding, the water in the background on my avatar is Lake Michigan! In case you still don't get it, I was trying to be funny. You will get it if you try, say it slow now, F...U...N...N...Y! Don't stop before you get to the N's.

Here's a big one: Never post DD's pitching speed. Even if it is true, no one is going to believe it.

Exception: Someone else brings up your DD's speed and you confirm it. Other than that it comes off as bragging.

I saw her hit 60 as a 2nd year 12 in Park City
It's better to keep your mouth shut and look like you're stupid......
than to open it and remove all doubt.

Post from Speed of Pitchers
I know it's hard to believe. I was blown away by the results also. We were at 5 Star Sports Academy in Fountain Valley CA in mid September. She threw 15 fastballs measured by a Bushnell radar gun. Half were 41-43 the other half 45mph. She threw a 10" ball that day just before batting practice. During Fountain Valley Winter rec-ball Dani dominated the 8U division, which traditionally has some very strong teams Trabuco Hills, Mission Viejo, Aliso Viejo, West Grove. Many of those teams were moving up to 10's. Look at her video, it will give you an idea of her ability. Her hitting is outstanding also. She lead the team in hitting. The team had 7 girls moving up to 10's. Her batting AVG was .429 her SLG was .667 and her OPS 1.238. By the way my other kid was playing for Nemesis this weekend. #3 one hopped one to the left center fence during the game against Crush in her first at bat. She is also incredibly strong and incredibly talented. Little sis wants to be like big sis.
