Remember back after the dark days of the baseball strike, when the McGuire - Sosa Home Run Derby was "bringing baseball back", and the big media story was "Is the ball juiced?"?

Every one involved in the game is complicit. Even the fans who (continue to) patronize the game, despite now knowing we were (and still are) being played for complete fools. Just the way of the world, foolks.

If anybody shamed the game its Selig. He tells his cronies to test the players to see how bad the problem is (when he knows damn well it was out of control), all the while tells the players union, tell the players to agree to the test if and only if the names will not be leaked. So sure they agree to be tested knowing there names wont be leaked, and EVEN if they had a positive result of WHATEVER, nobody would ever know. So Selig while biting into a freakin polish finds out that names have been leaked. Selig is a joke, dont shame the players, shame MLB.
