The triple/(Drop Ball,Curve Ball, Change )isn't new maybe to 12's but it's been around for a lil bit as a matter of fact it was in a Pitching Coaches article 3 yrs back .Maybe your Coach did invent it don't really know who did.If you have a girl who can pitch this effectively at 12's it's a doozy 1st time at the plate you'll catch it 3rd time around if your expecting it. As far as I could tell, sitting on the bucket behind the plate waiting to catch it, you use the same grip on either 4 seam or 2 seam, and 2 different releases, effectively giving you 4 different speeds and/or movements. My DD has only worked on it a little so far.
