Brenda Marsh has passed away. It's hard to write let alone say. Brenda has been my friend for 20 years. I didn't even realize it was that long until I look at my kids and remember when they started playing CYSA (Chino Girls Fastpitch)
She has made me laugh, and she has made me mad. To know Brenda was to know a brutally honest person with the biggest heart in the world. She was my rock many, many times and for that I thank her.
Don you Cari & Katie are in my prayers as I know this may be the hardest thing you ever have to go through.

Brenda's memorial will be Saturday November 15th at Cross Point Church in Chino at 1:00 PM

What a loss. I interacted with Brenda in the ASA all-star world for many years, she was always up front with you, to the point and fair. She certainly will be missed. When did she pass away?

Brenda Marsh-

The softball world has lost a wonderful lady. Brenda was a very shoot from the hip and tell you like it was person. She always put what was right in front of people’s egos.

She was very instrumental in taking leagues that had issues and in helping them increased signups, and increase their cash flow for the league to help all young ladies. She was an Honorary Board member for CGF (Chino Girls Fastpitch) for many years after she left the league to help ASA.

In the ASA world in SoCal she wore many hats. I guarantee if you played or coached in Rec Ball or Travel Ball in SoCal you had contact with her at some time. She was the Northern District Commissioner for Rec Ball and Treasurer/Blue Book Coordinator for the Players Association. If your team ever played in the ASA Turkey Shoot to help raise money for scholarships, you have met her. Or if you ever had a red cup at the Turkey Shoot you met her.

Brenda you will be deeply missed. I wanted to say Thank you to your family for allowing us to take time away from them so you could help us in the softball world.

The ASA Turkey shoot just won't be the same.

This has been one lousy month for Chino Hills.

Brenda will be missed by many and all that have ever dealt with ASA Rec ball in So Cal.

Her family did so much for the softball community around here and I hope somebody has that amount of time she dedicated to this to step up and fill her shoes, it will be tough.

I will have a red cup in her memory (she caught me once years ago)

I got this email from Don yesterday and could NOT believe it....yet another huge loss to our softball communities, having already lost our own beloved board President (SMGSA) in February of this year. To think that Ken & Brenda are reunited above...red cups and all.

I feel like I JUST saw both her and Don, when they came to the Glendora tourney and then again at District....
