Hey Intel, You're killin' me

What's on your mind?

10U is a standard 4 team pool with single elimination on Sunday.

12U and 14U is an 8 team bracket play with a three game guranatee. Teams with winning records go to Sunday's Gold Division and losing records go to Silver Division.

Sunday play begins with a No 3 seed playing a No 4 seed with the winner playing a No 2 seed with the next winner playing a no 1 seed. So, a No 2 seed get a one game bye and a No 1 seed gets a two game bye.

Confused yet!!

I did a horrible job on the schedule last year.

This year my goals were to reduce the number of mercy rule games and reduce the number of games the Champions play on Sunday. I am also trying to get the Championship game done by 7pm.

I expect you guys to raze me during the tournament when you see my going nuts.

The Last games on Saturday for the 12U starts at 4:45pm with no new inning after 1:20 if we are on time. These last games will only involve 20 of the 48 12U teams.

Pools are going to be by pure draw. First team drawn is number 1, second team is Number 2 and so on with the exception of the 12U and 14U Force teams have to be assign to a certain pool because of their tournament responsibility require them to be located at certain sites.

Teams you play on Saturday you cannot see again until at least the semi-finals on Sunday.

Heybucket will be posting scores all weekend for this tourney.

Who is the going to the finals in the 10's, 12's and 14's?

Maybe we should start a new thread for this.

That might open up the flood gates, but does sound very interesting...
