First Over the Fence Home Run for DD

What's on your mind?

No, it was a double with 2 rbi's.

Grats to your DD :)

Mine hit one that I thought had a chance when it left the bat yesterday, it hit about 2 feet from the fence.
Proud fastpitch, baseball, volleyball, soccer, basketball, etc. Dad :)

Nice to hear your girls are hitting the ball hard! Way to go!!!
Just a couple of questions...

1)Where were you playing that there were fences?
2) I'm guessing this wasn't a friendly?
3) What team does she play for? Sounds like we need to keep an eye on her!
4) How did the team finish this weekend?

Congratulations!

She palys in So Cal and yes we were at a friendly. The fence was at about 195. Thanks to everyone for their congrats! She has been on cloud nine. She actually ended up batting over 500 for the week-end.

Answer to your question is 5 games, 5 losses. Sure they're working on some things like how to hit HR's in a double digit loss. Smacking a HR off a 4th string pitcher is quite impressive. Nice going, understand why they didn't go to Fresno with the good teams.

jeez playball, you signed up today, and both your posts are bashing this team and this proud mom...why the bitterness?

:D Bimbo, congrats, but it goes up and down from here. My DD hit her first at age 12 (200), busted the ULL scoreboard at age 13 and has been hitting multiples since. She got her first grand slam last Feb. The problem now is we come to expect it and sometimes end up disappointed. :(

It never ceases to amaze me when grown men have their egos wrapped up in how well their daughters play a flippin' game. These girls aren't as good as your dd's team is? They lost all of their games? So what. What's your point?

If anything it's even more of a reason for Bimbo to be proud...dd's hitting bombs against superior competition.

So what's your point? We're supposed to bag on her because the home run didn't come against a "top team"? My 17 y/o has never hit one over a fence, 4th string pitcher or no.

Congrats to your dd sprtsbimbo
