Also does a new inning start immediatily after the 3rd out of the previous inning? I just read in the 2007 ASA book that it does but I had parents telling me otherwise as our girls were rushing onto the field and I stated the new inning has already started
In Georgia, the umpire may have considered you way overdressed for the occasion...I'm sure an umpire here in SoCal would have me change if I were to wear...say...a tuxedo...it's drawing undo attention to the coaching staff. The jean shorts may have been too new....or may have been purchased from a store other than Walmart...or maybe the HP demanded that the jeans have been cutoff....I don't know...
BTW: Your parents are wrong. The second the final out of the inning is recorded, the new inning has begun...
PS: Don't play the "SoCal looking down their noses bashing the southerners" card....I'm from South Carolina....lived in Georgia....and am the biggest Braves fan this side of the Mississippi. 90% of my relatives are from South Carolina and they comprise approximately 4% of my family's combined IQ.
