Man, stop crying and just tell us what that "daddy ball" coach did to your DD. On second thought...never mind. Trying to decipher your drivel is just too much of an a$$ whippin'.

I've asked FPI at least twice what age he/she is referring to, and he/she won't even tell us that, much less what got his/her panties in a twist.

We just went thru this rite of passage two weeks ago:
1. Bring chairs - bleachers are not always available
2. Pop -Up tent to shade the players on the bench (if someone has one.
3. Keep her hyrdated - pack enough water or sports drinks
4. Camera/Video recorder for her 1st play, hit, strikeout (if she pitches)...you'll want to show the entire world.
5. Sunglasses - even infielders need them depending on what time you play....Our 1st game was a Friday evening game and every parent gave away their sunglasses to the players due to the setting sun.
6. Insure she goes to bed and gets enough sleep the night before....three games (or more) in a day is a lot of softball for girls this age.
7. Make sure the team 1st aid kit is stocked...there are always sliding strawberries or sprains.
8. Flip flops for before and after the game ....spikes need to air out.
9. After each game, make sure the girls thank the umpires.....good sports (win or lose) are welcome and rememberd by all.
10. Purchase your tee shirt early - they run out of sizes at times.

Pasta the night before a big game.
Sandwiches for between games, snack bar food gets boring and not very healthy.
Toys & books for younger siblings.
A blue tarp from Big 5 and some bungee cords for dug out.
