Just look at the year if it says 1996 she's 12u this year and next if it's 1995 she's 12u this year and 14u next year.

I just looked up the ASA Code and it is your age on 12/31 of the previous year

Add the Age Group to her birth year and thats the year she has to move up 1996+14u= 2010 She has to move up to 14U for the entire year of 2010 1/1-12/31

1/1/1999+12U=2011
1/1/1999+10U=2009

That's right, Jan 1 is the golden b-day. Thanks for clearing it up. I know 2 girls who have birthdays the first week of January and always had the benefit up playing in the other age division. This was rec, so it worked for them.
