Donnie, what if your daughter never throws in the 60's? Are we going to keep pulling out the radar gun to verify that? At 16 yrs. old, my DD threw one at 62 mph with a 30 mph wind behind her. That's when we decided that she would have to accept the fact that 57-59mph was her optimal speed without over-throwing. We put the radar gun away and she did just fine... working the corners and with a great change-up.
Now, if yours is the next Lisa or Cat, then by all means go ahead and buy your radar gun(s), but get the $$$ one that works. The glove model (2 in 6 years) we owned was off by 2-6 mph when compared to the many hand-held (gun) models. Of course, we probably bought the one that Lisa wasn't endorsing.
