DD2 turned down a couple of those. Her rules about where were something like
1) High academics (she doesn't know what she wants to study - but she doesn't want
to be where they admit anyone that applies)
2) No cold weather
3) Must be near a beach
4) Must be lots of boys - preferably baseball players, but football will do
5) Must be far from dad (but not so far that if she needs stuff we cant get it to her quickly)
6) Must have a chance, even a remote chance, to get to the big show
7) Must be far from dad (UPS delivery availability required)
8) No cold weather, no snow
9) Far from dad

She never gave me an actual list but this is based on the number of times I heard the various items.

seems to be inline with my DD's criteria

nope we are 8-3 first game she threw 17K's, the team was made up of 7 of her travelball team mates, welost on her 3 walks 3-2. She threw another 16K's tonight. :D Our team is having a hard time putting runs on the board and always a few 3KD's.

Well done Scuba! My little bundle of pitching joy is on the oppsite end of the pitching spectrum. DD will average a K per inning, but 10 ground outs per game - her drop ball has been very effective to date.

Now mix in with those 10 GO's a few errors as her team is not the strongest fielding team....a bit of frustration so far.

Thank you Donnie. DD will just love to hear that

The only thing worse than DD's teams fielding this year is the weather. The games the team played so far have all been in Orlando.

It's going to snow here again tomorrow night. Most teams that didn't go away for Spring Training just got their 1st scrimmage in either Thursday or yesterday due to the snow and/or wet conditions.

Games that count begin on 4/1.

fingers crossed for some decent weather soon.
