There isn't much data that supports the assertion that portrayal of sex in the media is producing more promiscuous behavior among teenagers. In reality, teenage promiscuity is declining:

A time when wholesome companies like Disney produced innocent entertainment and sometimes highly education science films. That is except for the lemming vignette that you linked, of course. Can't use pregnancy stats to support your theory. Why? Vastly available contraceptives, and the morning after pill, and the Bill Clinton definition of not have sex, and the Harvard method(thanks ATWT). All do not result in pregnancy and abortion. Come on, wake up. MOVE FORWARD!

The article you cited is titled "STDs on the rise", but nowhere in the article do they cite any evidence for that. They simply state current statistics. If you look at the actual CDC data, the rate of STD infections are decreasing.

The article you cited is titled "STDs on the rise", but nowhere in the article do they cite any evidence for that. They simply state current statistics. If you look at the actual CDC data, the rate of STD infections are decreasing.

No stats needed. The eyeball test says teens act with less morals, class, care for others and so on... This generation is in moral decline can't dispute that.
