Moving society FORWARD!, even if it means going over the cliff.
Like those cute little lemmings

There isn't much data that supports the assertion that portrayal of sex in the media is producing more promiscuous behavior among teenagers. In reality, teenage promiscuity is declining:
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/01/27/healt ... .html?_r=0Teenage pregnancy rates are also (steeply) declining:
http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/news/hea ... 54140178/1Pregnancy rates aren't declining due to an increase in abortion either:
https://guttmacher.org/media/nr/2014/02/03/index.htmlIf you look at the data, abortion rates were highest for our generation, not theirs. Teenage pregnancy spiked for our generation, too. All this hand-wringing is just part of the never ending cycle of shaking a stick at the current generation and telling them to get off our damn lawn.
Of course we could go back to the golden years of Wally and the Beave, when the rate of teenage pregnancy was about three times higher than it is today. A time when wholesome companies like Disney produced innocent entertainment and sometimes highly education science films. That is except for the lemming vignette that you linked, of course. Turns out that neither lemmings, nor our society are going off a cliff:
