Who does Rae Rae play for now?

She is a junior and pitches for her HS team now (and does travel) and has been fairly successful.

Out of respect for her privacy I'll leave it at that. :)

How many of the team's players have stopped using binkies on the field?

It's this unique insight and analysis that has been in short supply on HB rankings, lately. 10U parents can rest easier now that Squirrel has come down from his tree. :D

Is this a serious question about Top Ten rankings for the 10u kids ? We had a pretty good 10u team, or we thought until we ran into Rancho Cucamonga , and some other SoCal teams. I remember one of those kids hit a home run off my kid, I swear that thing hit at least low earth orbit.

How well does the team defend against the always dangerous bunt home run?

In the day, if you won the ASA 10U National Championship, you were the #1 team, came in second #2, etc. etc. Now with a PGF Nationals it probably will take a rocket scientist to carefully craft an algorithm that successfully blends the ASA Nationals order of finish with the PGF Nationals order of finish. Can PGF afford the extra participant trophies?

Seriously, that was the fun part of this forum in 10U/12U, reading the utter nonsense that some hick from (insert a state name) said about (insert your DD's team name) when it was clear to everyone with half a brain that (insert your DD's team name) was the best damn team and that the hick from (insert the state name) didn't know squat about "real" softball, the kind that is played in (insert your state name), and then reading 27 pages of retorts and insults!

Have at it 10U parents! Enjoy it while your kid is playing for just the fun of it.

Agreed...10U ranking are ....besides bragging,...meaningless...
Trust me, My guess on how many of them are still playing in 5yrs would be *maybe* 50%

Enjoy it (and them) when they're young...
