When I first made this post, I really meant it to be for High School Pitchers going into college, then it was blew out of proportion. All year I have said that she can go to California and dominate and a lot of people in here said that there was no way that she could not go to California and not get lit up. Well guess what? She has already beaten UCLA and Arizona in complete game 4 hit performances. I admit it was my mistake to start this post a couple years back, but now I can enjoy a laugh when a few people said that she needed to PGF play ball in California to excel. She did not do either, and is dominating, and will continue to do so.

I wouldn't term her performance today as dominant. She had 11 baserunners in 7 innings and gave up a HR. She got the job done, but it certainly wasn't dominating.

Here's what I would call a dominating performance against Arizona earlier this season:

ip h r er bb so wp bk hbp ibb ab bf fo go np
7.0 3 0 0 2 12 0 0 0 0 23 25 5 3 99

Basically people said she would get bombed by West Coast teams if she did not go to PGF Nationals. Which I said was stupid for her to go out there and spend a lot of money when she already had her scholarship, then they said she would not be prepared for high D1 batters because she did not play on the West Coast this past summer, and I said that was stupid for her to do as well in this bad economy. Seems like she was prepared well enough after all.

I don't recall a single person saying she would get bombed (maybe NorCalGold...maybe). I believe that you are remembering wrong.

Perhaps you should provide proof of those statements.

What I do remember are people saying that you shouldn't get ahead of yourself and overstate her abilities before she is able to prove them on the field.

She still has a long way to go before she'll ever be as good as you want us to believe she is. That's just a fact.

And you cannot disprove the theory that she would have been better had she faced better competition earlier in her career.

I can prove it. She was just coming off surgery and did not want to travel the country and wear herself out when she had a limited amount of innings she could pitch. For the people that said they know for a fact Scot Thomas wished she faced better competition is false as well because I know that he wanted to see her pitch and not wear herself out. This past summer she was not at her best, so why go face incredible challenges across the country. So I can indeed in fact, prove that it would have not been a good idea for her to go across the country and play high-caliber teams when she was not at her best and spend thousands of dollars. It would not have helped her, at all. Also, would not make logical sense.

I think people were coming after you, not her. You kept obsessing about this pitcher that was not your daughter, a bit weird don't you think? I think she would have been noticed with or without you telling us. She seems to doing great, good for her.

That's not even close to what I asked you to prove. I wanted you to show all of us the statements that were made that she would be "bombed" against west coast competition.

As far as who knows Scot Thomas better and what he may or may not have said...I'll take JMO over a weirdly over-obsessed fan like yourself.

I am not a weirdly over obsessed fan. None of you know me, so you cannot judge. I will not speak on this forum anymore, god bless.
