At this point... at this time of the year... in my area (and only IMHO) fall ball is over, fall post fall-ball tryouts are over and the focus is on a brief break before spring non-HS workouts. Teams are already well defined. If a super stud becomes available, sure, it's possible. But a lot of players shuffled around to new teams in fall ball and some of them burned their team previous team in the process. Now that grass isn't so green. It's expected that some will attempt to move again (maybe back) in the next 30-45 days. For truly competitive teams, these moving players need to be well above the norm as far as talent to even be worth the bother of consideration. If the roster is near full or full they would need to displace a current player, either off the team or onto the bench. Frankly, that is unlikely to happen, particularly if a current player has already received a commitment and paid fees. Any coach who would dump someone after that is... unsavory (again, IMHO).
And, these moving players need to ask themselves why they moved, why their expectations weren't met and why this new move is "better" (or why attempting to return to the old team is a smart move if they left for TBD reason). And there is always some atypical exception. If it's a stud just moving into the area from across the country, a different story. But for those that move as often as they change underware, for the most part, the boat as already set sail.
