Um, We had an awesome time at Hooters there...real fun family atmosphere!...And the waitresses were SO FRIENDLY too!!!!

This is unrelated to the Fresno Classic ... but related to Hooters ... Whenever the subject comes up of where our team will be eating dinner ... the Gals ( 18U ) always want to go to the Hooters ... :?:

Everyone is welcome :)

I went to the Clovis East and Buchanan game last year on Friday night and watched a little bit of it.

Hey Mr. Uno, let's talk sometime and set up a "Hey Bucket" Friday Night at the Classic meet and greet. We can do it at one of the Hotel Bars or a local hangout.

We can even make room for Wadeintothem and a few of the other blues!

Intel I am in that sounds great. We are at Picadilly but the bar there isn't any good. You let me know where and when and I will be there. I might go over and watch some of that game.

May I suggest the Silver Dollar Hofbrau, Bulldog grill or even Grogs for your Hey Bucke get together or the bar at the raddison might be a good spot as well. Jimbos in clovis is always a hoot! The Raddison has a pretty decent bar at the hotel and the hotel has long been a supporter of the Force Classic. Jimbos and Grogs are both in Clovis and are pretty close to the Buchanan Complex.

I will most definitely be at both Clovis East vs Buchanan Softball games this year rooting for East. Intel... be nice or I'll have the new coach at Clovis East jack up your facility use permit... hehehe. I got pretty good connections with Clovis East. LOL.

Are we supposed to get contacted when we sign up?? i signed up a few weeks back and still havent heard anything. I think this will be my 5th classic........... dang has it grown.

Best memory from the classic:

We were playing Marty Tysons 14u team and game was 1-1 in 5th inning or so.... needless to say, Mr Tyson was starting to get a little excited at this point. A slow roller is hit to his SS and she makes a great play on the run and throws out the runner. Tyson comes off his bucket ecstatic and yells out, "That's why we practice that stuff."

For those of you that dont know Marty, lets just say he had no problem trying to intimidate the opposing team's players.

Next inning they get a lead off single. He puts the hit and run on, my ss is moving up the middle and that is exactly where the ball is hit, she steps on 2nd, fires to 1st and we get double play.
My 13 year old catcher stands up and yells over to the Angel's side of the field, " That's why we practice that stuff."

We happened to be in the same hotel as them and later that night Marty comes to my room and wants to know which parent that was that yelled at him. When I told him it was my catcher he got a real kick out of that.

Oh the memories...... fastpitch is a great game:)

I think the Silver Dollar Hofbrau is the place. On Shaw just next to the freeway (41) and close to all the hotels.

I hope someone from the Fresno Classic reads this site. Their electronic registration form on their web site is broken. When you type in the information and hit the submit button, you get a blank e-mail pop up. I tried retyping the information into the e-mail before sending it with no luck. I e-mailed the contact information twice and never got a reply. I telephoned the listed telephone number and left a voice message and still no reply. So, today I just printed their electronic form and mailed the check to them.

Seems to be very unorganized

I want to hear about the fire water incident. LOL
To each their own.

I'd like to rehash the allegations of racism at the non-existent entrance. When Quikvr (or whatever his name is) gets done posting his kid's videos all over the internet, perhaps he'll come back and regale us with stories about how some 18 year-old girl shook him down because he isn't white.
