Well ... there is a team around here called the FireKats ... and I often wondered where they got off doing that ... I mean, Smoldering EmberKats really says it all ...

Why would anyone care if somebody calls their team Eite or any other name that they decide to use.If you are bothered by it. You should do some self reflecting on your inner self and see why what somebody else thinks of them self bothers you.

Actually I don't really care, it just seems that all of a sudden "elite" seems to be the new tag and I was wondering where it came from and why so many teams seem to be adding it to the end of their original names.

I guess I'll go have a burrito supreme and contemplate it a while longer while I am reflecting on my inner self.

I asked the same question as I am a newbee and thought maybe Elite meant something. I was told that last year, Elite sponsored some teams. In order to get the cash the teams had to change their names. Don't know if true or not, just told that by at least 3 different coaches.

...so for example: If Minor's Gold's 18 U team does not qualify for gold status, should they then be called Minor's Gold Elite? And if they do qualify then are they Minor's Gold Gold?
