DD2 turned down a couple of those. Her rules about where were something like
1) High academics (she doesn't know what she wants to study - but she doesn't want
to be where they admit anyone that applies)
2) No cold weather
3) Must be near a beach
4) Must be lots of boys - preferably baseball players, but football will do
5) Must be far from dad (but not so far that if she needs stuff we cant get it to her quickly)
6) Must have a chance, even a remote chance, to get to the big show
7) Must be far from dad (UPS delivery availability required)
8) No cold weather, no snow
9) Far from dad

She never gave me an actual list but this is based on the number of times I heard the various items.

seems to be inline with my DD's criteria

Donnie - did her college choice meet all her criteria?

All but 5,7 and 9.

Look on the bright side - D3K's (with reaching base on WP, PB or E) give her an opportunity to rack up more K's! :o She's not limited to 3 K's in an inning with them...

it is what it is and she tries not to get frustrated but when she does she usually leaves one fat for a HR she has given up 3 HR and one of them wasa a Grand Slam and the GS had 2 people on base with 3DK. Oh well she is just trying to have fun until travelball starts again.

SG, DD2 did the same thing - our evil arch enemy school (our home is within 100 yards of that border) - were good up until 7 years ago, since then for the 7 years that we had one daughter or two daughters on the team, we run ruled them. EXCEPT DD2 would give up one meatball a year to that team, the last two years, it was hr balls. The last game, in 2012, the score was 28-1. DD2 got two grand slams, and a triple, and because she gave up the meatball, she 'sucked' that day.

Have lots of fun with this stuff - photography is great for that. Kids love pics of themselves.

That gives her a total of 130 K's in 10 games and 60.1 innings on the year. That makes her currently 3rd in the state and 30th in the country (according to Max Preps). Just saying one proud Papa here.

That is just fantastic.
