Ended up at a San Diego school. I wonder if the ratio is 50-50 of kids that want to be away from home or play near to home?
DD2 turned down a couple of those. Her rules about where were something like
1) High academics (she doesn't know what she wants to study - but she doesn't want
to be where they admit anyone that applies)
2) No cold weather
3) Must be near a beach
4) Must be lots of boys - preferably baseball players, but football will do
5) Must be far from dad (but not so far that if she needs stuff we cant get it to her quickly)
6) Must have a chance, even a remote chance, to get to the big show
7) Must be far from dad (UPS delivery availability required)
8) No cold weather, no snow
9) Far from dad
She never gave me an actual list but this is based on the number of times I heard the various items.
seems to be inline with my DD's criteria
Donnie - did her college choice meet all her criteria?
All but 5,7 and 9.
