The fact is that you can't name anybody that isn't:
a) coaching a Gold team that isn't even considered a top team in OC,
b) coaching a Gold team that hasn't been a top team since Christ was a corporal.
I also know Phil....and he doesn't pressure his Gold players to change instructors to go to him. The team already pays him. Phil's students are predominantly younger players.
So...you don't know what you think you know.
OBTW: I plainly stated that a kid would be an idiot if they didn't go to Rico for instruction. I wouldn't cross the street for anybody else's instruction....of the ones you mentioned.
You just proved my point with your above statement.
Also, any kid that doesnt go to Rico is an idiot? Unbelieveable statement.
A) You never had a point.
B) If you don't know that Rico is one of the few Gold coaches that actually earns his instruction money, then...again...you don't know very much.
In your own statements above, you are "pushing" kids to Rico, going all the way to say if you dont go, your an idiot. Kids, and parents, take that to heart. Espically if its coming from the head coach of the travel team they are on. Never mind if they are going great, hitting the snot out of the ball, going to someone whos doing a great job with them. All they heard was,
"If your not going to Rico, you are an idiot."
Never said he didnt earn his money. But what has that got to do with it? Many coaches earn their money. "Earning" his money doesnt translate into making the instructor any better than the next person and it certainly doesnt make any kid that doesnt go to him an idiot.
