Like I said, I have used this trainer throughout my baseball playing career (95 NAIA All American Team, TVAC Player of the Year, three .400+ collegiate batting averages, and hold the majority of all offensive records at each school that I attended) work wonders for hitters.

I would do anything to get you guys to try this trainer for yourself and see.

kevin, your humility when refering to your playing career is refreshing . i have a great idea! since you would do anything to get a bb trainer to us, here's my suggestion, send a private message to sam and mail him a bumble bee. if sam gives you a ringing endorsement, you will have this item on back order for months .

--I would be glad to do that if he is a trusted source for such things. I just don't want to throw these things out if someone is not going to give it an open-minded chance. "Free stuff" tends to be perishable if you know what I mean.

- Cmon, give me a little bit of credit here...after reading the post you have to know there is more to it than that...Simple product? Maybe to someone that hasn't spent any time thinking about it....but, I am not offended, I understand how people are quick to judge such things. Simple to me is a molded ball on the end of a stick (how many people do you know that has one of these....me too and it has its time and place but is not anything that will prepare a hitter for a pitched ball)

I am glad all of you had a good time at my expense But, I would like to make sure that you understand a couple of things. First, I had no idea that having links to other sites in posts was considered SPAM, and for that I am sorry. The second thing I need to speak on is the assumption that I was referring to the Bumblebee Trainer as a new idea. The word innovative refers to how you use the product. On a side note: The Bumblebee is not simply a ball on a rope as many posters insinuated. So, as you can see, this is not quite the 30 year old product that you might have seen in the past. Because of the weight distribution and shock absorbing sections...it is easy to turn and there is no jerking on your arm.

I wish there was some way that I could get a trainer in the hands of everyone that thought this product was a joke. I can assure that you would be pleasantly surprised with the results. Like I said, I have used this trainer throughout my baseball playing career (95 NAIA All American Team, TVAC Player of the Year, three .400+ collegiate batting averages, and hold the majority of all offensive records at each school that I attended) and also is a staple in my hittiing lessons that I give in my community when not coaching my son's teams ( last year undefeated and two one loss teams). I also introduced and used the Baseball Bumblebee to my son's All Star team and represented our city for the first time ever appearance to the Dixie Youth State tournament. The products work wonders for hitters.

I would do anything to get you guys to try this trainer for yourself and see.

The problem is that you are targeting the wrong demographic. Your product will probably sell like hotcakes off the shelves of Big 5, but this board is comprised of experienced travel ball parents with (at least relatively) elite level kids. We pay $250 a month for private lessons and untold thousands on equipment and other expenses. Nobody here is going to buy a ball on a flippin' rope.

Nothing wrong with your business idea, and maybe nothing wrong with your product...for a completely different class of customers.

I've known a few girls that would have a better chance of hitting the ball if the bat were on a rope, since they start out as far from the plate as they can get, and step towards third as they flail in the general direction of the pitch.
