Tumble,
Went to my local dealer (Frye's) and they have the bat!!! After school today DD will be with me and she can swing it a few times to see how it feels and see if she likes it more then the Tech...

question:

I see in the pics of the nanotek it LOOKS like you'll put in the groove for the end cap and it LOOKS like the bullet proof..?? BUT the bat at the store does not have said groove or bullet proof end cap..?? Could you explain this or??

Thank you, and hopefully dd likes it..

The NanoTek FP has a black, snap-fit cap. The original art shows a clear cap and it needs to be changed.

Our bat is on it's way. Ryan said it should be here this week. :P Can't wait to try it out! My DD is hoping for more Homerun Derby trophies this year.

I am sure she will love the bat....it will be her 4th Anderson. She won't put any other bat in her bag.

Tumblebug,

My DD has the purple Techzilla and loves it. When you turn the bat upside down, you can hear something moving inside it, like something came loose. It's very faint and we don't hear it every time but it's there. Is this something I need to worry about? We are still under warranty for a few more months.

Thanks.

That slight jingling is usually just a little extra epoxy that holds the cap on coming loose. While the noise is a bit odd, it doesn't hurt anything. If nothing else is wrong, I wouldn't worry about it at all.

Has anyone tried out the new NanoTek FP from Anderson? DD's looking for a new bat and she loved her rocketech the past two years. She has a 31" rockettech and we are thinking going with a 32" NanoTek. She's gonna be 16.

What ya all think or know about the new bat?
