I sent mine to directly to the family, but Power Surge has since posted an address and asked that all donations go to the organization:

Hello everyone, Alicia and I have been asked to give an interview to the Orange County Register. One of the softball dad's is an editor for the newspaper. The interview will be Friday at 11:30. This whole thing has been so overwhelming, we don't know all of the people or organizations (sporting goods stores, eye-glass makers, etc..) that have asked to help. I am so proud of the HeyBucket family that I want to mention as many people, softball organizations, and companies as they'll let me get away with. Please pm me with permission to mention your support in the interview. We have also gotten calls from out of state, I would love to mention all the states where people sent words of support and outrage concerning the theft. Thanks again, we will be talking about this week in our family for generations to come.

What a great way to Celebrate the website's one year anniversary. A year ago two parents created this website with one goal in mind and that was to bring the softball community together. After this topic we can gladly say it is working.
I believe in getting into hot water. I think it keeps you clean.

I received this pm today and just wanted to share it with you all. HeyBucket has gone international. Its an awesome post and a perfect gift.

HI "myallstarz," read your post and felt badly for your daughter. Although Canadian money won't go far down there, and my husband has just been told that his company is closing down. I can't offer any financial contribution.

However, I would like to send Alicia one of our trading pins. We are the Oakville Angels here in Canada near Toronto. I only think it's appropriate that an angel gets their wings. Don't tell her, just stick it in her Christmas stocking.

I sent my donation directly to Alicia. I have to do things quickly, because if I don't, I never get around to it.

DD just called from Cosmetology School. Her camera has been stolen out of her purse.

Fortunately, the debit card and credit card are still there.

She carries an expensive purse, so she is lucky that they didn't take the whole thing.

I asked her why someone would steal a yr. old $99 camera and she said "well, with the memory card, it is worth more."

I tell ya - she goes to school 40 hrs. a week and waits tables on weekends and someone is stealing from her. I feel like telling her to "Kick arse, if she finds someone in her purse."

Alicia and I would like to thank all of you for making this the best Christmas ever. I wrote a rather lengthy post in the fastpitch discussion section, "The Best Christmas ever - no more Ba Humbug." Please read through it (its rather long, I can be long winded, sorry). We just wanted everyone to know how much we appreciate the generosity and caring. You all have effected Alicia's life in a very positive way. Thanks for getting involved. Hopefully, we have found a way to "give back." We hope to be able to do it year in and year out (read the above post and you'll know what I mean).

Happy Holidays, HeyBucket family.
"Every-time a bell rings, an angel gets its wings."
Hey, maybe we should rename Alicia's Holiday Give Back fund, the "Angel's Wing" fund.
What do you all think?
