And a lot of those Southerners are REALLY skinny. I think it may have something to do with their hard work ethic. Up north, we tend to sit on our rears and have heart attacks shoveling the snow.

Dont think its the work ethic, its probably because they smoke.

They really should reconsider before lighting up while shoveling.

As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't take a genius to figure out Flanagan's M.O. So, in this particular case, the offended party played for him not once, but twice, after drifting to other teams in between. It was his/their own stupidity that brought them back to Flanagan KNOWING FULL WELL how he treats players.

We as parents are responsible for our kids and what team they play for, even though the kids are the ones that suffer for it. Knowing a little bit about this situation I wonder why a parent once bitten by a snake would again put their kid in the snakes den and expect a different outcome the second time around. I have the upmost respect for Mr. Mendez and his family his kid is one of those kids that you want hanging around your daughter. Good luck prep your a very special kid and will do great things in life much more important than softball. We will miss seeing around the dirt.

As for the less than warm reception of the news from your former team, all you need to do is look around the bleachers and survey the IQ's of the average softball specatator...w/ his/her styrofoam cooler, plastic cup disguising their favorite adult beverage inside, Walmart folding chair, probably packing an extra 50 lbs or so, yelling at the Blues w/ a bit of a lisp after getting a tooth pulled last week.

Why do they always pick on the beer-drinking fat guys with Wal-Mart chairs..? and by the way, my teeth are fine..!
