What would you like it to say? Start with that.

Lite humor here-
Parents not allowed to...
A. Be in the duggout, except for the five parent coaches.
B. Talk at the umpire, except for when you think the umpire is wrong.
C. Talk bad about the coach,
except for when the coach talks bad about the team.
D. No backstabbing, except for players that quit the team.

In all seriousness, think it's great you want to set standards. Once you have people sign it, make sure the coach signs it and stick to it. Good luck!

We used to have a handout to give to the parents. It’s a good idea

Make sure you include which parents will host the Tiki Tent at friendlies and tournaments, make sure that those parents can make good Bloody Mary's, Micheladas, Mimosas and mixed drinks. Also which parent is best on the BBQ, any parent with an RV is a plus.

BBQ & Rv
secures starting position.

Amazing how that 24 hour cool off rule works. Some cool off while others form a posse.

Also, make sure you say:
I will gladly discuss anything with you, but NEVER during a practice, game warm up, game or post game and not in front of the athletes. Ask to meet with me at some other mutually convenient time.
Make sure your DD is properly hydrated and fed prior to a practice or game because I don't want you handing her Gatorades and chili dogs through the dugout fence.
Be sure your DD always has her feminine hygiene supplies with her and is prepared for an emergency with spare cloths etc.
If there are any changes in scheduling, I will contact you ... If you have heard nothing there is nothing to hear. (This keeps you from getting 13 texts about "is practice canceled?" while you are attempting to get 13 girls out of a thunder & lightning storm)
There are no requirements about minimum playing time; in theory one athlete may play every inning and another may never leave the bench.
Sometimes our players are out, sometimes their players are safe, sometimes Umpires and Coaches are human.
