Do teams still trade pins at nationals ?

Yes, they trade pins in TCS national and PGF 10U and 12U. Not sure about the other age groups.

That’s too bad. Always thought is was pretty cool and a great ice breaker for players from around the country to meet each other

At Sparklers and at PGF last year as 14U there were about 10-12 teams there trading pins, one team traded towels in Colorado. She had over 20 pins that she didn't trade.
In 2017 at PGF as 12U there were more but it was mostly just the 10s and 12s, I don't think she got any 18u teams pins.
In 2016 at PGF as a 12U they were able to trade all 35 pins

There were about 50 teams trading pins at TCS 14U WS last summer.
