Baseball and Softball both take unique facilities that don't lend themselves to being used for other sports. Countries that don't play those sports really wont have any use for the stadiums after the games and all of the host countries are trying to avoid what happened to Greece from happening to them.
But break dancing is as lame and gay as ballroom dancing was when it was in the Olympics. Neither are a sport (either are gymnastics, diving or figure skating for that matter) and that both are considered for the Olympics is a sad sign of the times. These same times that don't know how to identify gender and would rather placate insanity than try to heal it.
But what can we honestly expect from an international athletics corporation that provided us with the likes of Bruce Jenner, an insane man who was named woman of the year

They are not sports because they're not sports. They're contests, that yes, do require athleticism, but the winner and losers are decided upon by subjective scoring by a panel of biased judges..
Sports have objective rules and the winner and losers are obvious to all.
When the contestants do a choreographed routine, different from the other contestants, and then the winners and losers are picked by a panel, that's just a contest...no different than a bikini contest, miss fitness contest, beauty contest.
Figure skating, freestyle skiing, surfing, skating, gymnastics, diving, freestyle bmx....are athletic contests, not sports.
