Looking for a Mako Torque bat.

I am coaching at a middle school in NC. The district just added softball last year. I have several students who have never played before. I'm teaching from the ground up.

I heard most upper level HS and travel coaches did not like the Torque. However, I think it is a great tool for new players to get started. The cheapest one I found was on Ebay at about $140. Not quite in the budget for me yet. If someone has one they would be willing to donate or give me a great deal on please email me coachmike@kidznsports.com. The area is a low income area that was hit hard a few years back and school doesn't have extra $$$.

Thanks to a good friend of mine in Norwalk. He had a used Mako Torque which he sent off to me. It was even a greater blessing as he told me how he recalled some things I did to help his daughter's team and for the organization he's involved with. It's nice to be remembered.
