Stepping up and saying I didn't need to have such a bite in my last post.
Looking at the situation this way. Yeah the college coaches may have a short list of players they're looking at. Your players are going to be playing alongside of those. If your players are actually athletes then they should perform at some time. Will they perform each time at bat? Well that depends on how good your players are. If you're fearful and those opportunities with colleges watching that your players will never step up, go to lower-level showcasing opportunities so your players can be at least on the field with equal talent.
