No travel to other States for CA teams

What's on your mind?

80% of the paid teams at the TCS tournament in Arizona this weekend are from Southern California. Doesnt seem like anyone cares what newsolini has to say

Isn’t it an Alliance qualifier?

Seems to be a qualifier as its on both TCS and Alliances websites.

There's also over 60 teams from across the nation playing in Chandler, AZ this weekend, about 30 of them from California.

Just as an FYI to all of my Bucket brethren, if you are thinking about traveling out of town this weekend, you may want to read this. Please consider this a Public Service Announcement. Contrary to what Rudy Giuliani called for yesterday morning, there will be NO trial by combat!

In Los Angeles County a person is dying every 8 minutes due to Covid. Something to think about when traveling out of state this weekend and expecting the fields in SoCal to be open for play this coming spring.

This weekend in Arizona was so refreshing, could go in to restaurants and bars, carry guns openly and gasoline was over a dollar a gallon less (but still 60 cents more a gallon than it was there in September

Off to Utah tomorrow and back to Arizona the week after that. Seems that the only way to allow the kids to play is to travel out of state.

Locally the HS football players are all joining club football programs as its clear the tyrannical fascists in charge of this state hate sports. High school athletics aren't going to happen under governor suckscum and these big club football programs own their own fields. They had a fall club football season and now they're looking to have a spring club football program. Looks like democrats are going to kill prep sports in the state. That'll mean park and rec sports will be next on the chopping block. If kids want to play, they will have to pay on the free market. Interesting that the socialists are going to drive everyone who wants to play sports towards capitalism.

The reservations can play a huge role and make millions of dollars by building athletic facilities with lodging on their sovereign land.

Morongo has a hotel at their casino but it doesn't have many rooms, Soboba is in the process of building one, Pala, San Manuel, Chumash.... build a facility with 8-12 fields, use Big League Dreams plans if need be. The tribe doesn't need to run or officiate the events, there are already organizations in place to do so. But they can run concessions, charge people to get in, host stay to plays.... Californians are tired of being cooped up in their homes because the democrats weaponized a flu virus in order to take political control of the country. They will payn10 dollars a head to go watch their kids play baseball, softball,.football.... in Southern California gladly over the 150 dollars a head they are currently spending on going to Arizona, Utah, Nevada... to play games vs those same teams.
