We just got back from a spring break vacation in Panama City Beach, Florida. There is a very nice sports complex near where we were staying that hosts regional and national tournaments. I guess softball is never too far away.
If the weather holds, the Magic will have their first outdoor practice of the year at their home field this week. The team's first outdoor tournament will be April 11-13 at a complex that is literally right next door to the practice field. I expect the Chaos and the Shockwaves, two very good local teams, will be there. The coaches and the girls can't wait to get outside at last. The indoor tournament season ended on a good note and spirits are high. Since last fall, the Magic are 16-14 in six tournaments, and have first, second and third place finishes.
It's time to play ball!
