What a weekend!!
I love California Fastpitch Softball! This past weekend proves why. I was able to witness some of the best played softball in the 14u & 12u divisions.
Congratulations to Lakewood Black for a tuff win against Corona.
Congratulations to OC Impact on a great game vs Corona 95.
Congratulations to Corona 10u on a huge win vs OC Batbusters.
Big surprise: In 12u, TNL blasted Nemesis Elite 11-0 in pool play. That had to hurt.
I know TNL is good, but I thought Nemesis was better than that.
Biggest surprise: Cerritos Franchise coming up big. Took 2nd in pool play, then eliminates Bomb Squad 95 in extra innings, and almost beats Anderson Heat to advance to semi's.
Fastpitch Discussions
I thought the OC Wildcats over TNL 11-1 in the 14's was pretty surprising. I only follow the 14's in passing, but I've seen TNL play and they looked very strong.

At least all that scoring kept the TNL scorekeeper's hands occupied for a couple of hours...

Aw come on. Sam's blast was not only hilarious, but more entertaining than 14U
softball without the high schoolers.
