Virginia Tech (Tincher) vs. USA

What's on your mind?

by BornUltimatum » Tue May 06, 2008 8:55 am

Virginia Tech vs. USA on ESPN2 today @ 4:00pm.
I believe this is the game from last month when Tincher pitched a no hitter.
Is this accurate?

You are right. You will not see that very often. Was that a first against USA?
To no hit that stacked USA line-up is amazing. Can't wait to see the game.

Too bad. Think I have to watch some paint dry at that time.

WOW!!!! I saw the game last night. I read the posts when Va. Tech beat Team USA and was anxious to see the performance put on by Tincher. Angela Tincher was electric. I heard as the commentators advised that she was one of the last cuts for the national team. It looked like she was pitching with a purpose. 10 k's and no hit ball against that line-up!!!! Hats off to Ms. Tincher.

Her command and pitch location was unbelievable!!! Good speed and kept them off balance all day

It looked to me that the ball was exploding out her hand. That rise was about as nasty as I have ever seen. I am going to save that game on the DVR and show my daughter what a rise is supposed to look like. :)

The rise was ball was the key....It looked like what you're taught....Start at the knees and end it out of the strike zone with major speed

Great game. It will be on again if you missed it. It was fun watching Team USA hacking away at bad pitches, just trying to get a hit on the board.
