not sure who is favored but here is a link for everyone who is interested:

Looks like some teams need to confirm/send in thier checks, or the tournament needs to update who is playing vs signed up.

Nice job with your young team Joaquin.
The spirit, the will to win, and the will to excel are the things that endure.
These qualities are so much more important than the events that occur.

Most of the top So Cal teams are in Chino Hills that weekend. In 14u, the Arizona teams should be strong, Lil Saints and Desert Thunder. It is great to see a Hawaii team come all that way for a tournament, just wonder why they chose this tournament. The Idaho team playing 14u should not broadcast that they are 95's playing in 14U.

IN IT 2 WIN IT wrote:You can never count out any So. Cal teams. I seen the team Torment play and they have 3 quality pitchers, especially the little one- she has a wicked change-up. I would pick them as my darkhorse. I hear the one coach has recruiting ties to a few major colleges, his brothers are the coaches at these universities. They are a young team, and should only get better with time.

Thanks Mom!

Coach jr. and Coach Rick, and other Coaches. It was good to put a face on the Coaches whom i 've been communicating with over the phone and through E-mail. It was a pleasure , and a true blessing to meet you guys. Thank you, and we'll be seeing more of each other in the year to come. God bless you all.

2012 Winter Classic 1st place Championship 10U went to Lights Out from the Chino/Ontario area. Not bad for a rec ball team playing against travel ball teams and Rec All Star teams that went to Nationals.

Las Vegas winter classic tournament

I have 3 10u players that are available to play. Our santee ( southern cal) team had to back out but we will still be in Vegas as cant change our reservations. All versatile players, one is is pitcher/3rd, one is catcher/1st and the other is 2nd/short. They are all versatile players can really play anywhere. Our pitching coach recommended posting here so thought I would give it a shot
