The Worth Firecracker 18 Gold Team will be playing the Chinese Taipei National Team in an exhibition game next Thursday, June 12 at 8 pm at the Huntington Beach Sports Complex on field 4 (closest to Goldenwest and the parking lot). The game is free but parking is a dollar. These games are always fun...bring chairs and maybe a blanket, and have a great time with us.

Explosion 18U Gold will also be playing the Chinese Taipei National Team in a doubleheader exhibition next Monday night, June 16th at Bill Barber Park. Game times are 5:15 and 7:30. Admission is free.There will be a snack bar so come have some dinner and enjoy the softball games.

Worth Firecrackers and then Explosion. The Chinese Taipei team will have their work cut out for them. Maybe a brief stop at Oggies for some pizza and soda

Watched the Firecrackers/ chinese taipei jr national team game tonight...
kind of weird listening to the chinese taipei team talk out there... before tonight, the only foreign language I've heard on the softball field was all my 12 & 13 yr olds talking to each other...
and...the chinese taipei team's barber/hairstylist should be fired...
I'm just saying...

I heard that was their National Team not their JR team, is this right?
I watched both games tonight, first they beat Victory 4-2 and then beat the Firecrackers 6-4
Both were great games the Chinese team had one pitcher that was really great and that team could hit. They were a very deciplined team and showed a lot of respect for the game. I was not impressed with any of their catchers but the rest of the team was tight. All lefty hitters but two I think.

i overheard someone saying "jr" national team, and the jr team was touring last year, so I am just assuming...

oh, and I could have sworn Matsui from the Yankees was one of their lefties...sure looked like him...
