Catcher's Gear Bag

Help! We've got a couple of catchers needing bags. The rest of the team has the Anderson HR Bat Packs, so it would be cool if the catchers could match, but I'm not sure if the Free Style Bat Bag would suffice for catcher's gear.

Can anyone recommend a good bag (preferably with wheels) that their catchers have enjoyed? Or, if you have more information on the above mentioned Anderson bag, that would also be helpful.

We use the Mizuno Equipment bag. Roomy, relatively inexepensive and is wheeled.

our team has the mizuno bags and they are crap...the lean to one side and they already starting tearing...the bag that actually can take the wear and tear and carry everyhting is the boombah bag...our bag from last season held up for 3 seasons...its doesnt look like itll carry 2 helmets, catchers gear and three bats, but it does...and it has wheels and lotsa colors...

Yes, Boombah is *just* big enough to hold my DDs two helmets, chest protector, shinguards with knee savers, catcher glove, infield glove, outfield glove, visor, spare socks, 30" RTK, 31" rtk, Tanner tee (broken down... pole with bats, foot with helmets), batting gloves, 2 balls, 1 Jacket, 1 sweatshirt, 1 under Armor, sunscreen, sunglasses, cleets/tennis shoes, etc. etc.

People who find bags too small usually are carrying a bunch of stuff they never use: one or two too many bats, 2-3 bottles of already opened and barely drunk plastic water bottles, etc., half dozen practice balls, partially eaten sandwiches (yuck!) etc. It's amazing the stuff you find at the bottom of the bag!

It does save space in a bag to tuck the glove into the batting helmet and catcher's mitt into the catcher's helmet.

thedoanezone -- that bag you linked to is $179... I forgot to mention the price of the Boombah bag -- it was $59 when we bought it a year ago... I assume it is still close to that price, and comes in about 50 color combinations.

edit -- just checked it out on boombah.com. The beast bag is now $65. I think that is still a very competitive price. Some of last year's colors (the slow selling ones) are being closed out at $45.

They make good bats ! (I have a like new Phenix 31/21 for 125 shipping included, myy DD is using the 32/24)

Actually, this would be too small for a catcher's bag (the picture and name are "deceiving"; size = 38x13x14)

I will never buy Boombah bags again.
In less than 6 months of use I had a zipper come out on one bag, seams split on both bags the catchers used, and 5 bags with broken wheels. 60 day warranty on the bag so SOL.
Since the bags are made in China and are only imported complete Boombah has no spare parts available. I spoke with several people at Boombah and they basically said I could buy new bags. That's some great customer service.
You can't tell me our girls are the first ones to ever break a wheel in their bag. Why would they not bring in replacement wheels to offer, or sell, to their customers?
I guess they were $50 so you get what you pay for.

Have y'all switched to another bag, and if so, what did you go with?
