Teams already forfeited and the brackets not redrawn!??!!

This looks bogus to me. It's easy enough to refit the 12 effected teams by eliminating most of the play-in games and redrawing for the open spots with those 12 teams.

As is, the So Cal Pumas could face the Firecrackers (Dan) in game #136. But the Pumas have only to play 3 games to get there, while the Firecrackers have to play 5 games.

What is the ASA protocol?

From the ASA Code regarding 18 Gold Tournament Drawing Procedure:

"ASA will do whatever the hell we wish. Managers disagreeing with the TD's decision may go straight to He!!. Complaints regarding tournament draws will be sent to ASA and expedited through the Nobody Gives a Crap process. Managers will be informed of ASA's decision regarding their complaint 5 minutes after hell freezes over. Managers wishing to appeal ASA's initial decision may forward their appeal to ASA HQ via Pigs With Wings Express or Monkeys Flying Out of My Butt Parcel Service. Otherwise ESAD."

Actually if the qualifier is run like the previous ones, 'Crackers Ristow and the Pumas would not play the game if they won out that far. Both those teams would already have won berths.

The 4 winners of each quarter of the winners bracket qualify, and two survivors out of the two halves of the losers bracket qualify, for a total of 6 berths.

A better example would be Ristow and the comBat Panthers. Ristow would be on their 4th game and Panthers on their 2nd game. No doubt Ristow got a really bad draw, but whoever said life was fair?
