What's on your mind?

by anonlooker » Fri Aug 01, 2008 2:40 pm

DD looking to pick up some new gear for next season...
bat, glove, Juggs net, etc...

Wondering where in SoCal to get the best deals?
Or on the net, i suppose that would work too.
Thanks
and if you're a vendor, feel free to PM me with incredibly low prices! :D

Just looking briefly at the Demarini Bats in this site. HQ's supposed sale prices are the same prices that Softball.com or Justbats.com sells them for every day...just my 2 cents

I checked out hq4sports and found their prices higher than many other sites.

Still checking out various places and thanks to those who pm'd me info.

Any other suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

I don't know the answer for new gear - specials pop up on many sites. But if you don't care about buying used, try softballfans dot com. The site caters mostly to slowpitch, but they do have a fastpitch forum. I've purchased many used bats for dd to try for 1/2 price or less the retail value. I've also sold bats that my daughter has outgrown or disliked for about the same price I paid. Some bats that I've got from the site:
Catalyst (yellow)
Miken OKC
Synergy SCX24B
Two rockettechs
Miken Intensite
and others

Can't beat the prices of a used bat and they're usually broke in. Best used market around.

added info: Closeoutbats dot com usually has good deals on last year models

http://www.directsports.com call if they don't have what you want on the site and they will deal on the phone with most bat companies.
