We tossed over 50.

Yes they are all returned to their owners, they were not considered altered, simply garbage.

As the purchaser of 1 purple stealth was this done as a safety concern or were the bats considered damaged. I shook the bat this morning as you suggested and noticed a faint rattle like something as come loose. This is probably the beginning of the end for this bat. My DD loves this bat and has gone very deep with it. Well a new season and maybe a new bat.

It's not bat manfacturer. I'll bet each one of those tossed bats was used at the cages during the year which is specifically excluded by the warranty.

Ha. So are you saying that is only bat ever used in the gage. It would probably be a safe bet that Rocketechs have been used in the gage also, and yet we don't see several threads about them being disposed of. Or Mikens, or Catalyst, or ... It's most definately a manufacturing issue, always has been. I know of 4 on our team that never have seen cage, that have cracked, rattled, and broke.

My daughter's one year old Demarini Phenix was tossed yesterday at 18 Gold Nationals as well as a blue Easton for another girl on our team. Thank goodness we don't have to buy any more bats since she's off to college in two weeks!!!! I think I paid near $300 in Aurora for that bat last June, it's been a great bat until ASA said it had a crack in it yesterday (unbeknown to us).
BTW, it's never been used in a cage.
